After a 351Km flight to London, arriving at night we saw an amazing view of the city. At the airport we were trying to call Catherine and a nice Sikh guy lent us his mobile phone so we could reach her. Our backpacks are heavy and it's very warm in the underground station. It took us around 1 hour and more than 20 stations to reach the appartment but we ended up eating a pizza (with chipotle sauce for Charles ; D ) to finish the day with a big smile.

Indian restaurant, good & cheap. There are some mixed plates which allow you to taste a bit of every dish.
Food & Drink was 45 Pounds for 4 persons.

Very good wine from around the world. We recomend the Mixed Board-Charcuterie and Cheese variety + Argentinian wine from Patagonia - 36 pounds and enough for three persons.

We head up to Camden by overground.

Visit the market with thousands of T shirts and loads and loads of people. Some shops are quite originals (flashy robotic clothes and devices).

Back to the appartment, we were dying for a cheese cake, and didn't want to wait for it to unfreeze so we put it in the oven for a few minutes and ate the whole cake in once.

In the evening we met Gauthier who showed us around Covent Gardens. We ate together and went to a pub so we could drink, dance and listen to live music. It was a very nice evening. Thanks Gaw ;-)

it's cheaper, easier and allows you to take every transport type in the city + every londoner has one.

Public transport can take you almost everywhere, there are also night buses. Usig the Oyster card makes it easier and faster for everyone.
