To enter in the US we had to lie and pretend we had a hotel reservation for the night. As it was of course not the case, we directly go to the info centre and ask for some help to find a cheap hostel. In Los Angeles, that's not for granted but a girl in Polynesia had recommended us the USA Hostel so as we didn't find a better deal, we booked it. It's quite expensive but it's located in Hollywood Centre and it includes internet and the breakfast plus a lot of activities at lower prices. We start our visit by walking the crowded Hollywood Boulevard. Then, in the evening we did a Limo tour. We were around 15 people in the limousine and as soon as we stepped in we started to drink champagne, once the bottles are empty, we continue with vodka,... We first stop in a nice bar with a mechanical rodeo. We can't resist the temptation and go for a (short) ride. It was so fun, we have to celebrate with some shots. About one hour later, we get back in the limo and this time the driver leaves us in a club. We spend the whole night there, dancing like crazy. It had been a long time we hadn't had so much fun. The next morning was more difficult because we had booked an activity and therefore had to get up at 8 AM. Today, we will vistit the celebrities' houses in Beverly Hills. We enter the house of Snoop Dog, pay our respects in front of Michael Jackson's house, have a chat with the security guy of the Playboy Mansion,... Then we have a walk in Rodeo drive and observe all the luxurious shops. The next day, we visit Santa Monica and the very cool Venice Beach. Then, we go to the info centre to check what would be the most practical way to visit San Francisco, San Diego and Las Vegas and they tell us we'd better rent a car, so that's what we do. We pick-up the car at the airport and then make a last quick tour of Los Angeles: Hollywood Bowl, Rodeo drive, Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Sign,... before hitting the road for real.
