Due to the dense easter WE traffic, we arrive in Tutukaka quite late. We manage however to get hold of somebody on the phone to book a dive trip for tomorrow morning. Once that’s settled, we look for a cheap meal. But one thing leading to another, we end up at the dive centre’s expensive but very good and healthy restaurant and we eat with no regrets. The sea is quite bumpy the next morning so we don’t feel very well on board but that’s nothing compared to what we went through in South Africa. During our first dive of the day, we see loads of rays and murrays. We end the dive with an underwater cave which was very nice but also frightening. The current was so strong, it was very difficult to get out of the cave. After lunch, we are back in the water for our second dive, we see less fishes but a lot more sea flora. We have to make our way through the seaweeds and holes in the rocks, it was very new for us, quite an adventurous dive. After this fun day, we have a nice shower, a good pizza and then we hit the road again.
