AMAZING! It's expensive, +/- 110USD per person, but worths it. It takes almost the whole day (from 8AM to 3PM)

You must do it but:
- 20 USD??? Just to see a fall?
- watch out for the mist, it could damage your camera
- Zambian side could get more expensive depending on what you want to do. Prepare your wallet

We finally arrive there and find a backpacker camping at reasonable price. We are happy, we will finally have time to relax a bit as we will stay 2 nights at the same place.
The next morning, we have to get up early as we booked for some rafting on the Zambezi River. We are a group of only 4 people : Melanie & Jason (2 english speaking Canadians) and the two of us. They are really nice and we get along very well. The rafting was amazing, it was the first time for all of us and we enjoyed it a lot. Charles fell of the raft in one of the rapids and we lost him for about 20 seconds. This may seem a short time, but believe us, it was very long and very stressful. Even the guides were worried because he just disappeard underwater and they couldn’t see him. He finally got back on the raft and it was a relief for all of us, mainly Adeline. A few rapids later, the raft flipped and we were all ejected. Nobody is hurt so everything is ok. It was so fun! Zimbabwe is earning back some points. After those exhausting 4 hours of raft, we had to hike a interminable hill, Adeline almost died, her physical condition really declined in the past few months…. The good thing is that a very refreshing beer was waiting for us at the top of the hill.
After this adventurous rafting we went to the falls and again, the price killed us. 20 USD per person just to see the falls !!! We’d better rentabilize and take loads of pictures.
In the evening we were supposed to discover local bars at local prices but our guide didn’t show up so we had a few drinks at our new friend’s camping and they even invited us for dinner with their group. It’s good we stayed at Victoria falls for the night because we really enjoyed the time we passed with the group.

City (or town) disappointing. This place lives from tourism but doesn't respect the toursists at all. Activities are soooooo expensive. Better to take the plane than to go by car. Stay 3 days max
