City center is nice, well developped, and a lot of concrete! You can walk along the piers.

Otherwhise the info center is closed!! That's when you realise how helpful it acutally is!

Small bedroom, expensive...if you can, avoid it. The hotel is clean though and close to rail station. Breakfast is included in the price.

We arrive in Yokohama station at around 19:00 so of course the info centre is closed. What are we going to do ? How are we going to find a hostel ? Unless we want to sleep in the station we have no other choice but to walk around the station and hope to find a reasonnably priced accommodation. Once we are fed up with walking around with our backpacks we stop at a hotel and book it for the night. There is no much to see in Yokohama so the next morning we only visit the city centre and walk to the harbour then take the train to Nagano.
