Thought 'Thai Bowling' would be duckpin or something similar, but no, it was American style... quite fun with a great hostel in tow (the Spicy Thai Backpackers).

Had a great conversation and shot some pool (and was a shark, almost ran it twice).

Cooking school tomorrow! Then a jungle trek, meet some tigers, elephants and get my way to Laos.

I also updated my trip to go through Vietnam, Taiwan, Tokyo then India. Excited!

I thought I would put down some costs of goods / services.

Bowling: 120 b (about $4) for 2 games
Coke and Popcorn: 40 b (about $1.25)
Fried Rice Dinner: 40 b (about $1.25)
Night Train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai: 700 b ($22)
Taxi from Train to Hostel: 50 b (about $1.50)
Hostel: 250 b (about $8.50)

So cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap. About $20 a day for the last two weeks.
