Description

We arrived in Reno NV on June 14 2010 from our various points of origin to begin a four day adventure to discover some of the many sights along Highway 395. We travelled from Reno to Lone Pine and back, covering a bit over 800 miles including all the side excursions. My Mom served as guide, being a veteran of many previous excursions into this territory. For my sister and I, most of this area was new and previously unseen.
This was the last trip for my trusty 25+ year old Nikon N2000 film camera. It's now retired having been replaced by a new Nikon D90 Digital SLR.
The photos posted here are slightly less resolution than I would like and hopefully one day soon I'll find the time to rescan them at a higher resolution. But till then I hope they at least adequately represent some of the scenery I saw on this great trip.
