This is the 21st year of this great festival. As a long time resident of San Jose and an even longer time as a Jazz fan, I wish I could say I've made it to all 21 but I have missed a 3 or 4. I have to admit I had some concerns about the line-up for this years festival which seemed a bit skewed towards what I would consider to be a bit more the "Pop" side of the Jazz realm. Plus, not as many well known acts seemed to be in evidence (not necessarily a bad thing, maybe a chance to discover some new favorites?!).

I've taken snapshots of the festival before but this is the first year I seriously approached taking some photos.
