It was good but my body needs healthier fuel. Greasy food tastes good after a long day of cycling but it doesn't get you ready for the next day.

Hilarious to watch as a group. However if I took someone on a first date to this movie it would end up being a last date as well.

Interesting day. The temperature was cool so it was nice that sweat wasn't pouring off of me all day long. I discovered a big gash in my front tire that exposes my inner tube but I decided I would just ride until it burst which didn't even happen today. Tires are expensive to replace so we'll see how much of a problem they end up causing me. My chore group this week is breakfast and laundry but lately our host sites have been providing breakfast leaving me nothing to do in the morning except sleep in and binge eat. There is no possible way anyone could ever go hungry on this trip. The food is plentiful every meal and snacktime craving. Today two pacelines stopped on the side of the road so a couple of us could do pushups. A couple riders came back toward us because a car had driven up to them and said we were hurt. They thought since people were on the ground with a group gathered around that we had crashed. We were just trying to get buff. I rode a five person paceline to lunch where I ate like six pieces of fruit and three cups of trailmix. We had a solid dance party and swapping of some disgusting stories. After that two other guys and myself decided we would break off and try to push the tempo. One ended up dropping so it was just John and I hitting some good speeds and not taking a break once even through treacherous hill climbs. The usual front pack stopped to play mini golf which made us the first to arrive at the church around one o'clock with plenty of time to wait around before the next group showed up. The ride was filled with beautiful views and sloping terrain. There were some killer mountains but overall the ride was so awesome. I can't stress how much it helps to draft other riders and keep switching it up so fresh legs are always leading the way. I'm surprised at how little free time I actually have and really need to get my act together to finish up and mail out thank you cards. My legs are feeling it today after pushing it hard. 96miles tomorrow and a 5am wakeup call so that's all for now.
