The changing scenary really makes the ride enjoyable. Going past cornfields all day long loses its pizazz after a while.
Beautiful leg of the ride through a state park.
A lot closer to home than I thought.
This is the infamous patch of gravel that launched Emily into the road. You can see the actual tire mark cutting through it.
Band doin sound check at the county fair.
This is a tractor! If you want to see a real tractor pull, come to Missouri because they're all like drag racing cars on steroids that pull heavy objects far. Plus it's fun hopin in with the locals and cheering like this is the only thing in the world you care about. Perfect night.
This ride zips you around a full 360 degrees and leaves you upside down at the top. After we loaded four people on and it started moving, I realized the ride is run by a tractor. You can see the John Deere colors on the frame and the tractor exhaust pipe sticking straight up. After we got off, the worker shut down the ride, unscrewed the tension cables completely and readjusted them. Nothing about this ride was safe.
