Bodrum, Turkey

I only stayed a couple of hours in Bodrum – a city as touristic as it can be – but that time was not wasted.
I started with purcasing a ticket for the night coach to Antalya – I managed to get a nice price by showing my video testimony of my presence during Fenerbahce game – it so happened that the guy at the desk was a big fan of that team. My story and the material shown were so appealing to him that not only did he go down with the price but he also introduced me personally to the driver and the crew of the coach and asked them to take good care of me (if he could, he would have gone with me but he had to stay in the office for the night shift).
Since there was some 2 hours left before the departure, I decided to make a quick tour in the city. I was spotted taking pictures in the harbour by the crew of one of the most impressive ships I have ever seen. I was invited to chill out on the deck and after a couple of minutes conversation I was offered a job! It was really tempting as this ship could go for a cruise around the world if only the customers so wished. Maybe on my way back?

W Bodrum – mieście tak turystycznym jak to tylko możliwe – zabawiłem ledwie parę godzin, nie był to jednak stracony czas.
Zacząłem od nabycia biletu na nocny autobus do Antalii – w uzyskaniu dobrej ceny pomogło moje video-świadectwo obecności na meczu Fenerbahce – sprzedawca biletów jest wiernym fanem tej drużyny. Moja opowieść i zaprezentowany materiał na tyle go poruszyły, że nie tylko obniżył cenę jak to tylko możliwe, ale również chciał jechać razem ze mną... Niestety, musiał zostać na nocną zmianę w biurze. Przedstawił mnie natomiast kierowcy i obsłudze autokaru, przykazując im, by o mnie dbali.
Ponieważ do odjazdu zostały jeszcze dwie godziny, postanowiłem zwiedzić nabrzeże. Podczas obowiązkowej sesji zdjęciowej zostałem wypatrzony przez załogę jednego z wypasionych żaglowców zaparkowanych w przystani. Zostałem zaproszony na pokład i po krótkiej rozmowie zaoferowano mi pracę. Oferta nad wyraz kusząca, bo załoga ma wszelkie uprawnienia by odbyć choćby rejs dookoła świata – wszystko zależy od klientów... Kusząca oferta, może w drodze powrotnej?
