Drove into a small village north of Florence, Italy today. This is a photo from my room over looking the olive trees and vineyards of the Inabli Agriturismo I am staying at. The Hotel/Guest house is situated in Tuscany and is sort of within the "Chianti area" of Tuscany. There are about 1,000 such hotels, which are called Agriturismo's. They are typically family owned and ran, they typically produce some product associated with grapes or other agricultural bi-product. These type accommodations are a better way to see Italy than the large cities that are crammed with tourists every July and August. Just as a frame of reference, this apartment/cabin cost me $100 euro's a night.
