Part of the reason my trip embarked in Washington, DC was to the new Airbus A380. Essentially a full double decker that stands about 80 feet high and has a wing span almost the same length of a football field. They had a special for 2 days on Air France for 75% off in Business Class, so I took it. I don't think this picture does it justice, but it's one sweet...and huge ride!!
The plane had a video camera on the rear wing (the top of the elevators) that stayed on until 10,000 feet. The engines on this bird are SO quiet compared to any other aircraft I have ever flown on.

Oh the smell of "Euro trash" on a train in the early morning. I believe the odor wakes the senses up more than the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning.
