Today we left Vic Falls Rest Camp and Zimbabwe and cross the border into Botswana. We arrived at Chobe National Park in the early afternoon and pitched our tents. We also saw our first wild warthogs of the trip. Spent the afternoon catching up on internetting, blogging and lazing around the pool. An early dinner ahead of our early morning game drive in Chobe tomorrow.

Up at 5am this morning for an early morning game drive in Chobe National Park. It was very early but very cool and we saw plenty of wildlife including warthogs, elephants, kudu, impala, buffalo, jackal, hippos and even three lions! I was suprised to see some much up close in a short space of time. Back at our camp we had lunch and enjoyed a slow afternoon around the adjoining hotel's pool before jumping onto a 3pm river cruise which took in sightings of many more elephants, a few crocs and hippos as well as sunset.
