We were very thankful to see that our hotel had sent someone to pick us up from the train station which saved us a 4km walk with our backpacks. The staff seem really nice here and they even let us check into a room straight away at about 8am with no extra charge. We had a brief walk around and ducked down to the beach for breakfast at Louisiane Brewhouse which was nice then back to the hotel for a few hours of catching up on emails, blogs, bills and rest. It's nice and warm here again which is excellent news after the last 5 days in Hanoi and Hoi An. It was probably about 25-30 today and same forecast for the next few days.We headed back to the beach in the afternoon briefly and enquired about possible diving trips and visibility before heading out yet again for dinner. We retired back to the hotel fairly early and watched a movie on TV before falling asleep in the amazingly comfortable bed.

Cheap, dated but very good value! Breakfast included, train pickup included, free afternoon tea, room is quiet and clean so can't ask much more.

Very slow start today after a big and much needed sleep. We enjoyed breakfast at our hotel before settling in for a few hours of blogging and emailing back in our room.

In the late afternoon we headed to the beach briefly once the heat was out of the sun and in the evening we had a quick dinner before back again to the hotel for a lazy night in watching another movie (American Graffiti on HBO Asia). I know we didn't travel all this way to watch TV but it is nice to have a couple of slower days every now and then to recharge our energy reserves.

Our last day in Nha Trang today, another slow day (but very nice and relaxing) starting with breakfast and later heading down to the Louisiane Brewhouse to soak up the sun and go for a swim. Afterwards we walked south along the beach and back up the esplanade before a quick pit stop back at the hotel and our for dinner.

For dinner we headed to the highly recommended Lanterns restaurant which did not disappoint...it was a very nice place, great service, excellent food and still very reasonably priced. We had a DIY barbecued pork with steamed rice which was a novelty and maybe a bad choice for a hot day because we were both sweating from the hot coals, but very enjoyable.

After dinner we wandered down to the foreshore for a very relaxing end ot the evening at the Sailing Club bar which extends out onto the sand. The moon was out and it was a beatiful night to enjoy a couple of drinks outside and take a moment to reflect on all we have already seen and what is still to come in the coming weeks and months.
