Orange River, Namibia

As we'd missed our on our sunrise opportunity for Dune 45 back at Sesrien, Victor offerred us the opportunity to return to Fish River Canyon this morning for sunrise. Sandra and I had decided last night that we would opt out and enjoy a sleep in but when morning came around we woke up from everyone else's noises and decided to go along anyway. I was soooo tired but it was kind of cool to be there again in the morning. Afterwards we returned to camp to pull down tents and have breakfast and a shower before back on the road for the drive south to Orange River. We got into our next camp, Felix Unite, around midday which is a very nice place with great facilities set right on Orange River. The weather was nice and warm but the pool was not, but nevertheless we enjoyed a nice lazy afternoon of sitting around, cathcing up on the internet and soaking up the atmosphere. After dinner quite a few people headed down to the bar where many games of pool were played and beers consumed but I wisely departed before it got out of hand and headed for bed.
