Sesriem, Namibia

Up at 7am and pack up at Swakopmund and back onto the truck for a long, bumpy drive to Sesriem. We drove through some spectacular scenery including the 'moonscape' which reminded me strongly of the Bungle Bungle in Kimberley country of Australia. We had a lunch stop on the roadside next the sign for the Tropic of Capricorn before back onto the truck to head further south and arrived finally at Sesriem at 4pm. Set up the tents and had dinner and a shower and then an early night was had by all ahead of our very early start for Dune 45 sunrise tomorrow.
