Acadian bus lines
Sep 07, 2010
The bus was a good choice for traveling from PEI to New Brunswick. I got to see a lot of the island and then we went on this massive bridge that connects the two places together. The trip was a few hours but it was nice and relaxing. It's amazing how much New Brunswick looks like Northern Ontario.

The old triangle
Sep 07, 2010
I found this pub as I was cruisin the street down from my hotel. It looked pretty homey so I decided to drop in. The had a pretty good selection sea food, pasta, steak, etc.. You would think that I would go for the special or something really unique but something caught my eye. I saw they had poutine which I haven't had in for ever but if you think it was a regular old poutine you are sadly mistaken. This poutine was by far the greatest poutine of all. It had the usual stuff homemade gravy & cheese but they also had onions, stuffing & ground beef. I can spend all day telling you good this was but I won't. If your ever in Moncton you must stop here and try the food.

Well I arrived yesterday and the trip was great. Lots of beautiful sites to see. Got into Moncton and it started to rain. It didn't slow me down though. I still went out and saw the town a bit.

Marriott restaurant

It was raining in the morning so I decided to venture downstairs for breakfast instead of heading out side. The had a hot/cold buffet which was pretty good. The had eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes and anything else you could think of. I loaded up on eggs and fruit.

Champlain mall
Sep 08, 2010
Since it was pouring rain outside I was starting to get a bit bored. I went down to the front desk and asked if there was any place I could go and stay dry. They said there was a bus that stop at the hotel every hour and it would take me to the mall.
I hopped on the bus and it took me to the next town over which was called dieppe. I has no idea it was a different town. Think of Scarborough and Toronto it's kind of like that.
The mall was nothing special. Just your usual name brand stores. No unique shops. It killed sometime but if it's not raining there are much better ways to spend your time.

The keg steak house
Sep 08, 2010
This place was huge. Probably one of the biggest kegs I've been to. The inside is the same as most kegs being all fancy and such.
I sat at the bar and order the blue cheese fillet. One of my personal favorites. The waitresses were really friendly and a few of them actually sat down with me to shoot the breeze while I was waiting for my food.
I got my steak and it was amazing. The baked potato was great. The steak was cooked to perfection. I couldn't stop my self. Each bite was just inviting me to take another. Even when I was finished and full I still wanted more. Top notch!

Beatlemania on tour
Sep 08, 2010
While on my venture through the city I just happened to go by the local theatre which had a huge sign saying beatlemania. I've been a huge fan ever since my teen years so I went and bought a ticket. The show is put on by four auzy's and the go through the time line of the beatles. The played their music, wore there outfits and played old audio clips. It was amazing how close these guys were to the real thing. They played almost every beatles song you can think of. The guy sitting beside me was Melvin from cfti-fm radio and we got talking a bit swapping stories and he brought me with him to go interviews the guys after the show. I didn't get to talk to the band much but I was able to get their autograph. All and all it was a great show and recommend it to any beatles fan.

Holly crap this place is nicer than my condo. This room come with a kitchen, living room, bed room and one huge ass bathroom. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. They even threw in a bottle a wine on the house. Probably more than what I need but hey who cares I'm on vacation.

They have a weird rule here. There are no lights here for people crossing the street. Instead there seems to be a unwritten rule when you standing on the sidewalk and you look like your going to cross people will automatically stop and let you cross. I've never seen anything like it

After looking online and asking around it seems like there is a lot more stuff to do outside of town than inside.

Well another place has come and gone. Moncton wasn't a bad place. It small but if you look hard enough you can still find stuff to do.
I got to go shopping and of course there was beatlemania which was a blast. I don't know If I would come back to Moncton but I come back to tour the rest of new Brunswick.
I also learned a little bit more about the east coast. New Brunswick is a French province which I didn't know before I came here.
Now I ready to go to my next destination which will be Halifax.
