The Londoner
Oct 19, 2009
We were immediately greeted by the owner Pierce, who is from South Africa, and he answered all of our questions about his very regionally diverse menu.He put Monday Night Football up on the tv for us and they even had Strongbow English cider available! Bonus! After eating beans, rice, tortillas and chicken for the past month, his burger loaded w/ mushrooms, bacon, and more really hit the spot!

Not a bad place for $40/night. Clean w/ a friendly staff and wireless. A big thanks to Dave and Kacey for doing the leg work and finding this place after looking around at hotels for five hours! Good choice. It's located on Calle 31 and Ave. Peru, down near the waterfront. 227-0958

Barwil Shipping - Consider other options
Oct 20, 2009
Dave and Kacey did all the hard work again and found Evelyn Batista at Barwil Shipping to handle getting the van over to Columbia. We decided to share a container to help reduce the cost and it came out to be $950 per vehicle. Another couple of guys that we bumped into from Manitoba had to ship there's in a single container and I believe they paid ~$1200.
As it turns out, we had a very bad experience with Barwil, and we are still waiting for our van. It probably won't arrive until Nov. 1. We arrived in Cartagena on Oct. 21. I would consider going with Seaboard as we have heard others have had better luck with them. Check out Nick and Rochelle's take on it.

All the flights we first looked at were in the $300 plus range. Our shipping agent told us about this airline and we were able to get a flight from Panama City to Cartagena for ~$150.
