Idiot that I am I didn't take any videos of what you see from the Andean Explorer (there were also electricity/technical issues that I will write about in another episode) – but here are some stills.

Ever since we've been here I've been trying to get Janet to get one of those funky looking hats the Peruvian women wear. The elongated stetsons. TO no avail.

But today, visiting the Isle of Uros in Lake Tittikaka, one of the ladies there named Irma got Janet's number. She knew that Janet would be a sucker for getting dressed up in the tipical (that's how they spell it here) Iramayan costumes, so the stetson was just the cherry on the dessert so to speak.

If Cuzco is the navel of the world, Juliaca is a bit further south and around to the posterior side. This flight is 5 star because anything that gets you out of Juliaca is a good thing.
