Bergen, Norway

Today was the Bergen Aquarium and the Art Gallery. Tomorrow- natural history museum and cultural museum.

I'm now in beautiful and cosmopolitan Bergen, the 2nd largest city in Norway. It will be homebase for a while as I explore the city and plan a backpacking trip or two.

Yesterday ended up relaxing a bit, sitting in the hostel's common room. Ended up meeting a Belgian cyclist heading South, as well as Steven from Holland and Cecilia from Sweden; so when the weather cleared up last night we all went out to the harbor and had dinner together, jokingly tried to sneak into the Roxette concert, and then returned and relaxed on the rooftop of the hostel. And now, unfortunately, I must say goodbye to them all. Adieu!

Tomorrow it's off for a couple days of backpacking in the Dale region. I'll be in some of the high mountains, so maybe I'll get to sleep on some snow.
