...finally. Since I wasn't planning on being this far east I didn't have any maps of the area with me, so I was relying on finding maps in the various towns as I came to them. However, since it is so early in the season I haven't found one open tourist office, so I've been flying kinda blind. But hoorah! I've a southern Norway cycle guide at the library here in Kragero.
I arrived here yesterday and wandered around until I could catch the 7:30pm ferry to Stabbestad, where I could camp for the night. Kragero is the first picturesque coastal town i've come to so far. White-washed houses flow down from the hills and cliffs to the harbor, where several small islands hold yet more coastal houses.
Today I took the ferry back to Kragero and will have a rest day. The 2 week with the family in Denmark was great, but I should have eaten less and exercised more.
