Our first stop was the "Star Wars"-like one in Podgarić. The drive there took us to very rural Croatia and we ended up at the very lovely town of Podgarić which is next to a pleasant lake. Up on the hill sits the Spomenik like some avenging spaceship. It was built in 1967 and is a monument to the victims of World War II.
