The ferry "Tijata" sailed right on time and we got a nice rail spot on the upper deck. The passage was only 45 minutes total including stops at two ports on a nearer island.

Zlarin is definitely a sleepy little place. We grabbed some lunch but regretted the choice of place when loud German singing and accordion music poured forth from the inside of the restaurant. Accordion versions of ""Que Sera, Sera" and "Camptown Races" is enough to put you off your food.

We wandered the island some and saw almost no one. In the end, we found a nice shady pine grove with a bench and did some reading. I think this is the life one expects on Zlarin. The return sailing was equally short and sweet. Then it was time to drive back to Trogir and navigate the bridges to our hotel.
