Hello. We have decided to document our 11-week wedding road trip adventure. We do it in an effort to entertain ourselves while keeping detailed notes on what we hope will be a lasting memory. And, to the extent possible, to bring friends and family along for the ride. Our rough itinerary is listed in the first post. Check it out and let us know if we'll be able see you on our cross-country trek. We'd also love to have you share recommendations of things to see/do/eat/drink along the way.

Can't believe you guys are STILL in Texas!
I'm completely appalled by the language in this sophomoric "travel log". I would expect this type of filth from a couple of San Diego State grads but not academics such as yourselves. Just wait until Mary gets a look at this drivel. Hoo boy! Anywho, enjoy your trip and we'll see you in a few weeks for the ever-so-holy union (does Steamboat have a cathedral?). Keep up the Tim Horton's and filet-o-whale and the groom is going to outweigh his future brother-in-law by June 19. Love you two, Chris
I like it. I like it a lot. Said in the voice of Lloyd from Dumb & Dumber.
this is more entertaining than the road trip in when harry met sally. You all could turn this blog into a webisode. Too funny. Can't wait to see you when you make it south. Any estimate of when that may be? Enjoy each day.
Hey, Laura and Josh! Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! Love the blog. If I think of cool food options, I'll send them your way. I'm at a loss right now. Anyway, I'll be back in DC around the same time that the two of you get back. We should meet up. Have fun! Elizabeth xx
Hello Josh and Laura. I'm loving the trip documentation so far and I'm sure it will continue. I'm so sorry that you two scooted out of town before I got to DC. Of course life doesn't stop for me (I too have realized this!) Best of luck on your amazing journey. Thanks for keeping us entertained and informed. Can't wait to see you.
Loving this. And totally looking forward to the coming home party!

Dear Laura and Josh, OMG!!! Absolutely awed by your blog!!!!Now I have a reason to turn on my laptop. I also got a kick out of your brother's humorous review of the text.
Holy Moley! Well, Congrats are in order!! And of course I swung by here to check out your Bloomington stuff. : }
Hi Laura & Josh, It was so great to see you at Connie's. Did you hear that she fell & is walking on crutches for now. I love your idea of the trip and e-mail info. You are a great couple and I wish you lots of love. If you ever want me to make you a footstool just give me an idea of what size, stain color etc. Love to you both!!! B. Curry
Congratulations Josh and Laura! Your blog is awesome!
So are you guys doing a jalapeno tasting whenever possible? An experiment to see who does them best? Who's winning?
Great to see you guys and thanks for stopping to see us in The Q!
Hey can you send me a copy of the Tourist Map pic from Golden Gates, Oregon? I want to see a closer view of what's what. :)

Let's pick up the pace here! Where the hell is Arizona? I know your trip didn't stop in L.A. Let's see some pix of the Subaru dealership in Phx. Where's the blog about Josh getting profiled for driving while white through Guadalupe? The spicy black bean veggie burger I grilled up for you? Shooting banned automatic weapons at the range? So many memories.
Great Blog. Eva and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the great summer entertainment and beautiful pictures. Can not wait to see the conclusion. Glad you had a safe trip. Much Love and congratulations again. Lv Uncle Bob & Eva
