Passed by Cresent Donut on the way in and stopped to check out two of my former residences, including the Gatsby Mansion. Still magnificent. Trips past the Informatics and SPEA, and into the (Michael Maurer) Law School, followed by a walk down Kirkwood and around the square. A beer outside at Malibu Grill, extended a bit by a downpour that had been threatening all afternoon. Good thing FARM, our dinner spot, was just around the corner. More great food and drink, including garlic fries, assorted pickled things, floating duck dumplings, cranberry beans, a bison burger, and some esoteric pizza-ish thing. FARM is the latest, organic, hip foodie spot to invade B-Town (actually, its probably the first, but I’m imagining many more to follow) and has developed quite a reputation. Two enthusiastic thumbs up from us. Heroic driving by Amanda got us home safely despite Category 4 hurricane wind and rain.

Ah, The Vid. One of the only bars I ever went to in town. Don't think I could ever step foot in there without Maura leading the charge.
Stopped at the light long enough to have a lovely reminder of the Spoon show with M and M. That was some good late-night Googling, Ms. Ma-u-ra.
