Ferndale, California

A very quick stop in Ferndale, home to (according to the guidebooks) lots of Victorian houses and some good drive-by sight-seeing. A cute town, with lots of nice, tree-lined streets, big, beautiful houses. Somewhat of a surprise, given that the town is set pretty far away from the highway and is surrounded by little more than farmland.
