Up and at ‘em fairly early. A bit more time with Ben and Britta (received great news tonight via Facebook: Ben received an offer from the Moline dentist and will begin shortly. Great choice, Moline dentist.) and some quality visiting before having to say goodbye to Jan and Clayton. Huge thanks for their hospitality and warmth. So much fun to hang out with them for a few days.
Met my parents, Sandy, Mary, and Ron for lunch at the Bud’s Skyline Inn near the Moline airport. An hour to joke around, discuss Boetje’s Mustard, eat pork tenderloin (5/7 attendees had a PT of some sort, myself included - obviously), and say goodbye.
Both sets of parents will be in Denver as of Saturday, June 12, but it was so long to Sandy for the time being. So much fun to get to know her this weekend. Look forward to our trip to Buffalo [Ed. note: And our apologies again that we had to cut the whole Northeast from this trip's itinerary. 11 weeks is nothing to scoff at, but still hard to make it everywhere we wanted].
