Stopped to check out Park City, which is about 20 mins from Salt Lake. A beautiful town, vaguely reminiscent of Steamboat, if Steamboat had a lot more money. Presence of the 2002 Winter Olympics still strongly felt. Ski jumps/slopes visible from the main street leading to town, as are Olympic signs/flags. The mountains themselves gorgeous, the shops/restaurants on Main St. quite charming, and the pastel and primary colored clapboard homes built up the mountain quaint. Our Jalapeno Cream beers and bar food at Wasatch Brewery hit the spot.**

** With one exception: cilantro. Despite asking for “NO cilantro” on her fish tacos, the plate arrived covered in green. (This very same scene happened earlier in the day at Freshies.) Annoying. Philosophical question: Send it back or pick it out? [Ed. note: My decision each time was not so much based on the outcome of an internal philosophical debate. It was based on hunger and not wanting to wait for another meal to be created. If I had an allergy and not just an eeeeeextreme dislike, that would be another story. That said, I really wish they'd get it right in the first place. I do ask nicely and, apparently, it's not my fault: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/14/dining/14curious.html?_r=2.]
