We stayed in this cute fishing village and in the morning we drove out to the end of the peninsula and saw the first of many breathtaking sites from today's drive around two peninsulas of South West County Cork. We drove from Baltimore back up the peninsula and down the next peninsula called Mizen Head where we saw the famous bridge at the most southwestern point of the country. The drive was beautiful and we made many random stops to see the view. After this peninsula we went down another one and the weather cleared up for us and the views were gorgeous. We drove right by the coast and stopped at a beach along the way to check out the tide pools. Today was one of my favorites thus far in Ireland. We saw what we came here for, the landscape is so gorgeous here, and it's amazing to see panoramic views of ocean, countryside, mountains and a few houses, but not a city in sight. Randy, the budding photographer, has this all documented with his new camera so check some out.
