Coming up to this little village threw us off a bit because we had to find a house in the middle of the night with no number on it and the houses all looked the same! The town seemed like a ghost town, but that was of course due to how late it was. We found the house and walked up a dark and creeky staircase to find that the door to the chalet was wide open with the keys left in the door... yeah that didn´t freak us out... we didn´t know where the light switches were so we walked through a dark hallway (waiting for an ax murderer) and up another set of stairs to the entrance of our place. There was a wide open window above the stairs with a ledge, and on this ledge were very large tools that could easily be murder weapons so we were about to turn around right there. But we worked up some courage and pushed Kyle forward to unlock our door. By this time we were hearing all sorts of noises. We unlocked the door and found a light. We were home safe.. the chalet was simply adorable, so cosy and so Swiss. Once we looked around the place with the lights on and realized that we were not going to be murdered and we were staying in a true Swiss village, we fell in love. Everything creepy about the night made sense the next day when a maintanence guy came by to pick up his key that he left for us, and finish fixing the broken window that was wide open. Besides the ceilings being about 5 and a half feet high, and everyone was having to crouch down, the chalet was perfect, a true Swiss experience.

What an amazing town! You all are so fortunate to be having your adventures...love your little stories and pics :)
On the last day before leaving this wonderful country we went paragliding from a nearby mountain! We had all never done it before and it was amazing! We flew over treetops and into clouds and did spins and aerials. Kyle and Levi got a little motion sickness from all the rollercoaster moves they did, but Kyle is still determined to get his paragliding license now and travel by flying over mountains instead of by planes.
