Hi Rhona, I have an overland trip London to Adelaide planned. I will be leaving in April. Planning has come along nicely...One question im a little unsure about.. Ill be travelling the Iran (taftan border crossing) pakistan (through dalbandin, quetta into lahore) India (crossing from Lahore). How does the Police escorts work? and are they needed all the time?... Did you organise escorts or did you get picked up at the iran/pakistan border for example..and at road blocks etc... I am typically a little nervous about Iran/Pakistan and would welcome police escorts as much as poss. Whats your advice?

Iran is an amazing place, I think it is my favourite country so far. Not a lot of email access so I won't have a chance to do much updating of the blog for a while. One week left in Iran and then Pakistan for around 7 days. We won't be doing site seeing there, just driving through with a police escort for our safety.

I'm in Iran now and I am still in one piece!! Having a great time and loving this big adventure. :D xx
