We had no issues at the border and made it through in around 5 hours. Apparently that was really quick. Left Iran and entered at Taftan, not the nicest town I have ever seen

Now we are in Pakistan we need to have military/police escorts along most roads all the way to Lahore

Thankfully we don't need to wear a headscarf all the day now we are out of Iran. As the temp is over 40 degrees C anything we can take off makes a big difference!! My trousers can also go to 3/4 length, how daring, lol!

temperature was 43.6 today at 2.30pm, it's getting hotter!! Hard to believe we had hailstones in Iran a few hours ago

the difference between Iran and Pakistan has been instant, landscape, traffic and people have all changed.
We have been driving in flat desert for most of the day

Some of our escorts travelled on the truck with us today. All were very friendly and smiley :D

Thankfully made it all the way to Dalbandin and didn't need to sleep in the truck. Shared with Sally and a large beetle with exceedingly long legs!

Out of Iran now so some of the guys made enquiries at the hotel about getting beer. An hour later cold lager was available and greatly appreciated by us. Had to have two as you aren't allowed to leave on an odd!!
