Esfahan, Iran

I've only been in Esfahan for just over a day and I love it!! Apparently Esfahanis are similar to the Scottish, the Lonely Planet says it is because we both like to look after our pennies but I think it is because the people are really friendly and welcoming :D

I've just spent an hour in the police station here, there is a branch of police called the 'tourist police' in Iran and thanks to our Iranian guide having a power battle with our tour guide, myself and Rache,l (our lovely uktooz guide) had to go and talk to the police and clear up some things. It is a long story which I won't go into but it is all good now, and that was one experience I didn't expect to go through in Iran.

P.S I am still loving the place :)
