we stopped at a roadside cafe for lunch, not much to report except that it boasts the following stats-
population - Sheep 22,500, flies 2,000,000, humans 30!
another place I don't think I want to live in :)

We had a quick stop at Woomera enroute to Port Augusta. The town is located in the south east corner of the Woomera Prohibited Area (WPA); colloquially known as the Woomera Rocket Range. Established as a restricted access township in 1947, Woomera Defence Village is an Australian Defence Force (ADF) facility supporting the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Woomera Test Range (WTR) which, today, is used to evaluate military and civilian missile, ordnance, and aerospace systems.
There was a display of rockets in the town centre, it was like a ghost town, I don't think we saw one local. Bigger population than Glendambo, 300 people live in Woomera.

Steve and Brian fixed my tent, I was planning to sleep out again but the weather turned a lot cooler. The wind picked up and is was definitely the coldest night so far in Oz
