Stopped off at Broken Hill for lunch today. The town is famous for silver mines, no sight seeing for us today, I think we are all getting to the point of saturation on tourist activities. There was a statue of an emu in the visitors centre so I had, yet again, to confront my fears.. We headed off to McDonalds for food and wifi. On the walk there we passed a house with a pet goat watching the world go by. Goats seem to be a recurring animal throughout the whole trip. I've seen them in doorways in Lahore, Pakistan, sleeping in a taxi in Agra, India and most places in between.
Won two apple pies in McDs, I won't pick them up until later on the trip, might need them for food if I run out of money!

ON the way to Wilcannia Steve stopped the bus quickly, ran across the road and came back with a Blue Tongued Lizard. The back end of the lizard looks very similar to the front which helps confuse any enemies.
