Getting closer to the border and you can see the change in people. The Pakistani influence is getting stronger. We are only about 100kms from the border. Spending our last night outside a police compound so most of us are going to sleep on the truck

I read this ereailr this year and really enjoyed it. The film just came out in the UK dubbed from the French which I also went to see and enjoyed. I had read about it in Nick Hornby's Polysyllabic Spree and my best friend recommended it to me so I had a little bit of an idea what I was letting myself in for. I's not the happiest story, but I think it is an important one and I hope people who usually shun raphic novels give it a go.

23.00 and watching the Sherlock Holmes movie in the truck. 6 others are asleep and we are parked up outside a police compound.. and the weird thing is this doesn't seem strange, just another normal day overlanding :D

Iran has been amazing, so diverse and the people are amazing, so friendly. Sad to leave Iran and really hope I can come back soon

Can't really cook tonight as we are parked up outside the police compound and will generate too much interest from the locals. Tomatoes, cheese and onion sandwiches with lovely fresh Iranian bread

A lovely, friendly local brought us loose tea last night and freshly baked bread this morning. Yum!
