Like everyone else in town, we had to rush around trying to buy supplies before the stores closed (at 6pm). The night ended playing cards and showing photos to Katie, a girl we met at the hostel.

Tips
Find the fruit and nuts store: 40 y 20 Fruita y Seca
Be sure to find the tiny store at Baquedano 443 which sells nothing but trail mix and dried fruit. Great selection. Dried melon? Amazing.
Lodging

Erratic Rock 1.5

This place was a little cheaper, and basically just one room with 8 beds in it, with a HUGE common room. It wasn't as nice as Erratic Rock, but was more laid back socially.

Great pizzas at long table in a really quaint restaurant converted from an old wool shop.
