Description

I dedicate this book to my poor loved ones. I'm sorry you were forced to endure countless hours of skype, impromptu loan requests and faked sympathy for someone on a year long vacation.

This trip would have never been possible without the love and support of you incredibly patient unfortunate souls. A particular thank you to my mother. Who flew half way across the world to share a piece of this great adventure with me.

I hope reading this allows you to love and loathe the journey as much as I did.

Sara: Not sure of your agenda, but if you are going anywhere in vietnam in the future, we have a good friend there. He comes to the states often and has stayed with us. He normally does his travelling via a scooter but is versed in the backpacking world as well. He teaches english there, and was tickled to death the last time he was here and Aunt Marge stocked him up on school books and supplies. He is married with a new baby, but would be more than happy to assist you in Vietnam. HAPPY TRAVELS

It's such a small world. So sorry I missed you. Normally I still turn when I hear the name Betsy (life long reflex). Bill laughed and asked if he really could pull off looking like a Xavier? So glad you follow along. It's bound to get quite interesting with some challenging destinations ahead. Cheers

I knew I saw you yesterday! We were at the Omaha zoo also. I walked past you and yelled Betsy, knowing it couldn't be you because you are out of the Country! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about your journey. Enjoy civilization for a few days and as always be safe.
