Shaunti, Looks liek you had a real adventure in Brasil. I know the bugs would have killed Joyce. I here you are looking for wine recommendations in italy. Since you are in Flourence you should go to villa Antinori. Be sure to see the doors of the bapistry and then compare them to the copies at Grace Catherdral in the city, this is one of only 6 copies in the world. But it is nice to see the real thing! Be sure to have bistecca in flourence. Nothing like a big hunk of grilled beef. Try this with one of hte super tuscan wines, such as the Vigorella I recommended. You'll like it!
