I was told I shouldn't pass up this city, and I'm glad I didn't. They have a fantastic pavillion from which to watch the sunset.

Zagreb is a neat place to be for a day. Two days are too much, especially when its +35 the second day.
But at least I get to catch up on my writing!

There's a big debate in the Balkan travel community about whether one must go to Zagreb. I would say yes, if it's the only city you will visit on the peninsula. The city center, cafe culture, and night life will all be a pleasant surprise. But if you are picking between here and the coast, go to the coast. There's not a ton to see in Zagreb.

There are no great hostels in Zagreb. But at least the guys who run this one are awesome.
