Worley is a tiny town of just over 200 people set along scenic Highway 95 south of Coeur d'Alene. Largely an agricultural community, it is on the itinerary because of its tribal casino and resort. This Indian tribe received its modern name from French trappers, referring to their shrewd trading. Coeur d'Alene means "heart of an awl" in French. They were also referred to as the pointed hearts.
